Senior Software Engineer
The Zekiah Software Development Team develops advanced analytical desktop, web application and emulation solutions supporting various critical infrastructure analysis projects working closely with government client infrastructure engineers and software integrators. Zekiah is looking for a TS/SCI-cleared Senior Software Engineer with a background primarily using Windows/Python software development in an Agile environment, however, other platforms are utilized when necessary.
Responsibilities
The individual will be a technical leader in the full software development life cycle on a software development team with the responsibility of ensuring the development of software from design through software unit test. The individual will lead and mentor software team members, including guiding the team to formulate and implement software requirements and translate these artifacts into well-formed software design. The candidate will be expected to lead architecting software, make design trade-offs, defend design decisions, and ensure the production of high-quality code within schedule.
Position Requirements
- Five (5) years of professional experience in software design, development, or engineering applied to program development and at least one of the following: network/graph analysis, modeling, or simulation systems
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience applying human systems engineering practices for the development of graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and simulators
- Experience designing interactive applications
- Ability to develop software in C#, Python
- Experience with software algorithm development
- Experience developing software for multiple operating systems
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases
- Experience developing web applications
- Proficiency in software engineering tools (Visual Studio)
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills as well as excellent written/verbal communication skills
- CompTIA Security+ certification or similar
- Must possess an ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI security clearance
