Zekiah Technologies, Inc. is pleased to welcome Steven Chaplin to our team! Mr. Chaplin hails from Sistersville, WV. Sistersville is located right on the shore of the Ohio River and boasts it’s very own ferry to Fly, Ohio. The ferry is the oldest in WV, in continuous operation since 1817, and one of only five ferries left on the Ohio River. After separating from the Army in 2014, he moved to St. Mary’s County, Southern Maryland. He is currently pursuing his degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland University College.
In his free time he enjoys working with his hands and building racing go karts. He is married to his best friend and the two have a son in Elementary School. He is an avid fan of college sports and while he may be a Southern Marylander now, he still roots for his home-state WVU.
Mr. Chaplin will be supporting our contract at NSWC Dahlgren base as a Geospatial Intelligence Analyst. His supervisor, Eric Mahaffey states, “We’re excited about the in depth background that Steven brings to table from his years in the US Army and Army Reserves. While serving, he acquired the perfect set of skills to support this project. I’m happy that we were able to provide a position close to home, and look forward to working with him to support our Navy client.” Zekiah thanks Steven Chaplin for his years of service in the United States Army and sends a warm welcome aboard to our team!
