Shamille Dodoo Joins Zekiah’s Software Development Team

Zekiah Technologies, Inc. is pleased to welcome Shamille Dodoo to the team. Shamille earned his BS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. While there, he worked in VT’s Bioinformatics Institution developing web pages and an online educational game targeted to middle schoolers. The game tackled the challenging task of making the abstract concept of Queuing Theory, a convoluted mathematical topic, approachable to the younger generation. Zekiah Technologies Opens New Fredericksburg Office

Due to recent growth and a desire to continue offering our clients the best support available, Zekiah has opened a second office location in Fredericksburg, VA. Zekiah’s headquarters will remain in La Plata, MD, county seat to Charles County, and the area from which Zekiah takes its name. Our new Fredericksburg location will allow a shorter commute for Virginia employees as well as facilitate additional options for client meetings and support. Zekiah Navigates Virtual Internship with Summer Intern Tammy Dam

Zekiah Technologies, Inc. is pleased to welcome Summer Intern Tammy Dam to the team. Zekiah typically hosts a robust summer internship program but things are a little different this year. David Rich Joins Zekiah’s Software Development Team

Zekiah Technologies, Inc. is pleased to welcome David Rich to our software development team. Mr. Rich is our newest veteran hire (read more on the benefits to hiring veterans in AFSA’s Spring 2020 magazine, page 28) and we’re excited to have been able to implement new on-boarding procedures to continue hiring during the COVID-19 quarantine. Zekiah Awarded DHS Contract to Continue WAMS Support

Zekiah Technologies, Inc. was recently awarded a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contract through the General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule (GSA MAS) (formerly GSA Schedule 70 IT) contract vehicle. This DHS contract continues support to the Coast Guard Waterway Analysis & Management System (WAMS) effort. WAMS is an important effort for military, commercial, and the public sector. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) monitors, uses, and defends US waterways and coastal borders.
