Kate Soliven Joins Zekiah’s Software Development Team

Zekiah Technologies, Inc. is pleased to welcome Kate Soliven to our Software Development team! Kate comes to us from Virginia, but she has also lived in California and South Carolina. She studied at George Mason University where she received an undergraduate in Management Information Systems and a minor in Information Technology. She expanded on her university education by attending Coding Dojo, where, among other accomplishments, she took 2nd Place in their Hackathon.
Kate has also taken courses for Certified Ethical Hackers and is part of the DC Capital Code group. The group focuses on helping coding boot camp graduates or STEM grads who want to enter the IT field. They provide networking opportunities and attend various Code and Coffee events. Kate also volunteers for both the Autism Society and Lion’s Club; she’s a very active member of the community!
Kate adheres to motto “Work Hard. Play Hard.” and when she’s not working or volunteering her time, she enjoys reading, drawing, graphic design, indie game development, and playing the guitar and alto saxophone. Zekiah is very excited to have such a dynamic individual join our team and her supervisor, Josh Thomas said, “Kate has shown her enthusiasm and acuity in learning the MADSS system and has been a great fit within the team.” Welcome aboard Kate!
