Bill Dollins, Senior Vice President, to be Keynote Speaker at annual TUGIS Conference
The 2017 TUgis conference will feature Bill Dollins as its Keynote Speaker. TUgis is Maryland’s Geospatial conference hosted by Towson University in March.
TUgis features hands-on training workshops, dynamic lightning talks, networking opportunities, along with exciting presentations and speakers.
Bill Dollins is a partner and Senior Vice President of GIS Services at Zekiah Technologies, Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and a life-long Maryland resident. Additionally, he sits on the Maryland Council for Open Data, helps organize the Southern Maryland GIS User Group, and is a part-time professor in the Geography Department at Salisbury University. Mr. Dollins is a programmer with diverse experience in geospatial information systems and application development. A primary focus over the course of his career has been the integration of geospatial tools and methodologies into mainstream information architectures, and he has implemented geospatial systems for government, commercial, and non-profit organizations. For the past decade, Mr. Dollins has shared his experience on the popular blog “geoMusings,” covering topics related to geospatial technologies and the business of geospatial.
