Our Approach

Advances in modern GIS technology have greatly increased the opportunities to insert GIS tools and data into traditional information systems. Spatial technologies can now be tightly integrated with relational database systems and customized with standard development tools and languages. Zekiah Technologies believes the integration of GIS with traditional systems provides avenues for greater depth of analysis and understanding.

We approach GIS by identifying existing spatial characteristics such a addresses, sales zones and coverage areas; extending system architectures to render them in map-based interfaces and then inserting additional spatial data to enhance the analysis and display of information. We also leverage our experience with client-server, n-tier, internet/intranet, wireless and relational database systems to produce a tight coupling of spatial and non-spatial technologies. Through this approach, it is possible to capitalize on data relationships that cannot be represented by traditional means.
