The next F.O.R.D. will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006 at the Virginia Outdoor Center (V.O.C.). Join us for two exciting off-road courses -- a beginner course of two 1.3 mile runs split by a 6 mile mountain bike ride or the advanced course of two 2.5 mile runs split by a 12 mile mountain bike ride. Team registrations of one bike rider and one runner to do both running segments will be accepted. If you pre-register the cost is $35 for an individual and $70 for a team. Race day registration is $45 for individual and $90 for a team. T-shirts will be provided for all pre-registered runners as well as food and drinks. Cash prizes for the top three M/F finishers. In addition to the cash prizes ... gift certificates, bike clothing, gel seats ... if you really like the sport this is the race to attend!

• We are sad and excited to announce a CHANGE in race site LOCATION: We moved the races from Lodi Farm to the Virginia Outdoor Center. This awesome outdoor center is located right on the Rappahanock River, so next to being a great place to cool off after the race, owners Bill Micks and John Garman offer kajaking, canoeing, tubing and limited camping for good prizes. The center is absolutely beautiful and we could not have wished for a better place to hold these events! This move had to happen due to property disputes at Lodi. It does not mean that the 12 hours of Lodi Farm will not take place there, however!! The trails are also very challenging: More hills, but less technical (not as rooty and tight). So please spread the word and come on down for the Sept. 16th race!! The website will display directions to the new site very soon!! Send us an email if you have any questions!!
